Witnesses say a man was running across the road to his car this morning, Tuesday, September 28, 2010 when he was struck by a motor vehicle. The man was in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds in order to apply for one of 200 temporary employment positions that will be available during the fair. Fortunately, a nurse who was also in line with 400 other job hopefuls, assisted the unidentified victim until Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene of the accident.
