William James Moore, of Whitsett, NC, was first transported to Alamance Regional Hospital before being airlifted to UNC Hospital after a wreck in Burlington on December 15, 2010.
Mr. Moore was travelling down South Church Street when Julia Roseshalea Richardson, 20, of Sedalia pulled out of the parking lot at Merchants Tire and Auto Shop and struck Mr. Moore’s vehicle.
Mr. Moore’s Toyota then struck a tree, pinning him inside the wreckage. He suffered serious injuries and remained in the intensive care unit as of 3:00 p.m. on December 15, according to an article on myfox8.com.
Ms. Richardson has been cited with failure to yield the right of way.
