Sanitation Worker, Caleb S. Shepard, Dies on the Job

Early during the morning of October 12, 2010, two sanitation workers employed with Morrison’s Garbage Service, Inc. in Salisbury, North Carolina were on the job when a fatal accident occurred. Caleb S. Shepard fell from the back of a garbage truck while he and driver, David Kenneth Carr, were collecting trash near Thriftwood Court in Rowan County. Mr. Shepard was accidentally run over and later died at an area hospital.
