A young man, Alex Nunez Cabrera, 21, of Thomasville, NC died on December 8, 2010 after being hit by a SUV on West Main Street near Watson Circle in Thomasville.
Alex Cabrera was a pedestrian at the time when the accident occurred. He was struck by driver Paul Edward Westmoreland of Thomasville.
The fatal accident occurred just before noon, and Alex Cabrera was pronounced dead at Thomasville Medical Center the same afternoon.
The investigation is ongoing, so no charges have been filed yet.
