Authorities are still searching for the driver who hit pedestrian Juan Vega on NC Highway 150 in Rockingham County during the evening of September 11, 2010. North Carolina’s Highway Patrol and Rockingham County’s Sheriff’s Department have requested that the public contact local law enforcement in Rockingham County if they have any further information regarding the incident. Police suspect a woman driving a grey or silver vehicle struck Vega and fled the scene.
