Stephen Brown, Diane Purcell Thrown from Motorcycle

Stephen Brown, 44, of Greensboro was driving while intoxicated Saturday night, November 20, 2010. When he failed to properly exit Bryan Boulevard onto the Westridge Road exit ramp, Mr. Brown and his passenger, Diane Purcell, were thrown from his motorcycle.

The pair was transported to Moses Cone Hospital with what were considered life-threatening injuries at the time of the accident. Having been fully ejected from a motorcycle, they are fortunate to be alive. Both Stephen Brown and Diane Purcell are listed as being in stable condition as of Monday, November 22, 2010.

Mr. Brown has been charged with DWI, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
