Kevin Scott Burke, of Burlington, North Carolina, was taken to UNC Hospitals on October 5, 2010 after suffering non-life threatening injuries in an automobile accident. Burke was attempting a left turn at the intersection of North Church Street and Graham Hopedale Road when his 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was hit by a Ford Explorer. The driver of the Explorer, William Charles Vanderburg, also of Burlington, had run a red light, causing the car wreck.
