Robin Stanfield Ragsdale was arrested and charged with felony hit-and-run on Thursday, September 16, 2010 after having struck bicyclist Toorialey Fazly—an exchange student attending Elon University from Afghanistan—as he was biking east down West Lebanon Avenue near Lee Street in Elon, North Carolina on Wednesday. Ms. Ragsdale claims she panicked and fled the scene after realizing she’d hit Fazly. He is currently listed in stable condition at Duke Medical Center.
