Biography

Kurt B. Aktug graduated from Clemson University in South Carolina, where he earned degrees in English and Political Science. He then studied at the University of Akron in Ohio, earning his Law degree in 1997. He is currently licensed to practice in North Carolina, South Carolina, and the U.S. District Court. As a Mediator certified through the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission, he is also approved to conduct mediated settlement conferences in Superior Court civil actions.

Kurt has practiced personal injury, medical malpractice, and general civil litigation since 1997. In 2004, he joined Egerton Law to continue his focus on civil litigation. He works as the firm's litigator and is frequently in court, focusing primarily on auto and other types of accidents. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.
