As such, we represent persons who have been injured in vehicle accidents and the estates of persons that have been killed in vehicle accidents (Wrongful Death). We also represent workers that have been hurt on the job (Workers’ Compensation Cases). Another category of cases that we handle is known as “Slip and Fall” cases and these accidents frequently occur at grocery stores, restaurants, or convenience stores. “Slip and Fall” cases can also occur in private homes or on streets or sidewalks. Yet, another category of cases that we handle is known as “Medical Malpractice” cases which are cases against doctors, hospitals, or other medical providers that depart from the standard of care and injure their patient. In recent years, we have also begun handling an increasing number of cases against nursing homes. Chief among the complaints against nursing homes are patients with bedsores and patients becoming dehydrated. Some of the problems at nursing homes are that they are frequently understaffed and that the employees are underpaid and not properly supervised. We also handle “Social Security” cases which frequently grow out of injuries sustained in one of the categories set forth above. To represent our clients, we have a staff of four attorneys and eighteen paralegals, investigators, and other legal assistants. We have offices in Greensboro and Asheboro but handle cases state-wide.
